A Simple Harmattan Dust Routine for Busy Homes
· 4 min read

Harmattan season brings a fine layer of dust that settles on everything. The trick is little and often, rather than one big clean at the weekend.
Start high, finish low
Dust falls, so clean shelves and window ledges first, then tables, then the floor.
Damp, not dry
A dry cloth just moves dust around. Use a microfibre cloth lightly sprayed with Multi-Surface Cleaner to trap it.
- Close louvres during the windiest hours
- Wipe window sills daily
- Mop floors every other day
- Shake out doormats outside
